The jade vine is one of the jewels of the tropics. Native to the Philippines where it grows in ravines and near forest streams, the vine has evolved to attract its primary pollinators: bats and butterflies. The iridescence turquoise coloring is unique in the plant world. When you seen a jade vine in full flower, you are somewhat awestruck by its majesty.
