AWARD-WINNING ARTIST’S WORK SHOWCASED AT EXCLUSIVE INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS EXHIBIT IN L.A.

Internationally acclaimed photographer David Leaser’s “Dahlia” was selected for the L.A. Center for Digital Art’s exclusive Electron Salon, which ran Aug. 8-31 at the center’s expanded new location in downtown Los Angeles. This premier event showcased works by international artists specializing in a wide range of digital media, including photography, paint, 3-D and data-driven art. The opening reception took place in conjunction with the downtown Los Angeles Art Walk, which drew 20,000 people.

“Dahlia” is a signature image from Leaser’s “Vivid Whites” collection, a series of large-scale flower portraits using white backdrops to highlight their beauty and fine detail. This striking piece features white-tipped pink petals cascading elegantly from the flower’s center.

Leaser is known for exquisite close-ups of bold, intricately patterned flowers that show them in a way they have never been seen before. His Nightflowers collection was awarded a Silver Medal in the International Photography Awards, and ARTnews and ArtNet critics have embraced his groundbreaking work. His work has also been featured in leading magazines like Architectural DigestNikon WorldSunset and the Los Angeles Times and at landmark locations like the Trump Tower in Hawaii, the Wynn Encore Hotel Las Vegas and the Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens in Los Angeles.

David Leaser is recognized as one of the world's leading fine art photographers and has won more awards than any living botanical photographer. His works hand in museums and galleries around the world, and in beautiful homes like yours.

"In his images, David creates fantastic, contemporary signs from nature's own high style. They become vibrant, nearly abstract mandalas."

- John Mendelsohn, art critic for Artnet
